IMO, stay with 35's so you can USE the truck, a 6" lift is NOT enough lift to USE 38's, it is for 35's. I have a 6.5" BDS HC lift on my 06 and it looks great and i clear 37's but i went down to 35's because i actualy use my truck up in the hills. If all you do is city driving and you just want to look cool, go for it by all means. Also, alot of sled pulling class's are limited to 35" tall tires, so that was another factor

thanx for advice yes i use my truck lol but mostly to go to and from work and school but prob be pain in ass trying to haul my camper boat ect... hmmmmmm

I have a 6 inch with 37s. I had to trim and wouldn't want 38s unless I had a bigger lift, gears, and a beefed up front end. When I had 35s my truck felt more useable offroad. After my 37s wear down, which are brand new I'm lowering mine down and putting 35s back on

Why not go 44s while you're at it? It'll help compensate for whatever else you're feeling short on haha

Mine has 35's stock with minimal trimming, so 37's should clear easy with a 6 inch lift.
