TPMS reset for lower pressures (D Rated) - Done

I have been running D rated duratracs (currently 315/70/17) on my truck for over two years now and while I was at the dealership the other day to reset the TAPS on my built trans I had the tech I knew reset the TPMS at 50 PSI so they will only go off now below 43 and above 57 PSI.

Less than $50.00 for the TAPS reset and TPMS fix with the tech II. Money well spent not having to scroll through the DIC 8 times a day when I get in and out of my truck for the low pressure warnings.

That's good info to know. I have the same problem but I was worried that the dealer might screw up my EFI Live tunes if they changed anything on the ECM. Let us know if you have any issues. Thanks

No issues with EFI Live... I am running it as well. They do not reflash the ECM. I was sure to ask before they hooked up the tech II.

I like them. Run them all season, they are good in the snow. I got 46k - 48K miles on my 285's. Still had some life left but it was winter so I changed to some new 315's. Probably going to get close if not a little more on my 315's as I rotate them more often. Into them for about 30k miles now and still good life left. Rotation and pressures are key to long life in an AT or MT tire for sure.

Im probably picking up an LMM in next couple weeks so there first on my list. What you finding that works the best for pressures? Low 50's?

If I remember my 285 were 65 PSI max I ran them at about 55-57 for best mileasge.

I know my 315's are 50 PSI max. I am running 48 -50 in my 315's now. I found my mileage suffered when I went down to 42-44 PSI.

was at 17-17.5 city and 20 hwy. built trans about two weeks ago and now down to 15.8 city and only hwy has been hauling trailers. Winter blend fuel they use here also drops me about 1 mpg over the colder seasons.
