Width of 2008 17 inchers?

Are the new wheels on a 2008 LMM 8 inches or 7 1/2?
Trying to figuure out if I can run a 295/70/17.

stock wheels are 265/70/R17. If you want to go to 295's you'll need a leveling kit or Lift. You might be able to do it with cranking the torsion bars all the way up but you will sacrifice ride quality. Do the leveling kit.

are they 17 inch rims? my stockers are only 16's

Thank you. What is the width of the stocker 17''s? Is it 7 1/2 or 8''?

I agree, leveling kit makes more sense.

hould be 7.5 but check the label on drivers door it will tell you for sure. There were 3 different wheels used.

I checked my rim guide. There 7.5

Thank you both. that confirms what is on my door. You think they could of sprung for 8''.
