NUFN - I was looking through the application guide for BF T/A KO's and noticed one hell of a weight difference between the stock and 285/75 tires. That could certainly play a factor in city driving, trying to get 10lbs/tire of rotational mass to get going... significant to matter?? yes/no?

I have been looking at new tires and bigger of course but don't want to lower my RPMs too much when towing, I'm not to concerned about every day driving but I came across this calculator that will allow you too put in such parameters as
Final Gear Ratio:
Transmission Gearing Ratio:
Tire Diameter in Inches:
Tire Growth Factor in Inches Per MPH Squared:
Transmission Slip Factors:
Transmission Efficiency(%)
and then calculate an RPM. This would be useful when making any decision to go bigger with tires. Here is the web site if anyone is interested.

Yes, and I even double checked it with road markers and my GPS. I was VERY anal. I'm not anymore, but I did a lot of research at the time....my wife actually got sick of me!

265's will be a big difference in looks and wont hurt your MPG's that mutch. I have 285's and it kills around town and highway MPG. Id get the 265's. IMO you'll be happy!
