Tires and wheels

Just looking for input on wheels and tires, i had an 05 with 315/75/16 bfg a/t's on mickey thompson alloy rims 16x10, no lift, slight rubbing on an aggressive driveway approaches, but other than that, no clearance issues. Now i've got an 06 that i want to make some changes, rather not lift it, i like the way it rides, maybe a body lift if i have to. Just want to go to a larger diameter rim, fill the wheelwell, if i go to an 18 inch wheel, what would be a comparable tire size to the 315's?? Will a 315/75/18 sit 2 inches higher, than i'll need the lift, any input would be appreciated. If anybody knows the biggest tire i can go with the 18's, or 17's let me know, 10 inch width.

with a stock height truck you wont clear them..
drop down to a 33-12.50R18,275-65R18 or a 285-65R18..
