Question Tires and gearing

I have 245-75-16 on my truck now. How will the 265-75-16 or the 285-75-16 affect the gearing ratio in my truck? I have the diablo predator so i can calibrate my new tire size. But in doing that will that also calibrate the gear ratio or what?

Thanks,
Trace

I just don't want to have to do any trimming with 285 with a leveling kit and the 285s to make the truck drive different like the gearing and steering .

Unless your going up to 35's or 37's you dont need to worry at all. 285's will make your truck a little slower but its not a big deal. I ran 285s with no rub without a leveling kit so you shouldnt have to do any trimming but i also have a front end replacement so idk

I have 285's on my truck and all I did was turn the torshin bars up alittle. I have mud flaps on the front of my truck and that was the only place they rubbed.

How much "slower" do you think it will be? Would it be noticeable?

I didn't notice mine, but then again I did a bunch of work at the same time. Removed speed limiter, edge, and 285's. I didn't have the speed limiter removed when I had 245's on the truck so I can't tell you.
