TPMS Valve Stems? GM or Aftermarket

Hey I have one broken valve stem for the 2008 timre pressure system. All the others are the stock GM ones... The GM stems are about $100 when aftermarkets are around $40... Is there a pro or con to aftermarkets? I know my friend has all 4 aftermarket and had problems and my other guy at work as no problems with his from tire rack.

Should I be a cheap prick and just go with replacing the broken one with aftermark or just get the GM one so everything matches and works...

When I mount new tires on them and come winter when I put them on do I have to go get them programmed?

I agree. GM parts direct is a great place to buy anything for your GM vehicle. I've purchased from them in the past with no problems or issues.

I am trying but the website is not my favorite right now. I click wheels and nothing comes up.. I click for the catalog and agree and it just brings me back to the regular home page. Found the list of stuff they have for the trucka nd its tempting but I can't find wheels or wheels valve stems..
