question for all the gurus!!!

i have an 02 chevy 2500HD with 8 lug wheels. i was looking at getting a new set of 17" wheels rather than the 16" i have now. i found a set of 17" wheels, kind of an off brand but they were off a ford excursion. as of right now, i dont know what year they came off of, what load rating the excursion was or anything. i just found them on craigslist today for cheap and was wondering if they would possibly fit my pickup? thanks guys for the help!

no ford went to metric 8-170 and you need 8-6.5

x2 no ford rims or rims that were on a ford will not fit the gm 8 on 6.5

im pretty sure 97 and older ford rims will though but im not positive

ok yeah i knew the older ones they could all interchange but i dont know what year they came off of or anything so. thanks for the help

Ford kept the 8X6.5 pattern untill 02 or 03 on the vans.
