maxxis tires ( bighorn & buckshot)

are these tires any good for our diesels or are they a total waste of money . $ 725 out the door balanced , taxs everything for the bighorn.

i have handled the BigHorns and the Buckshots for the last 6yrs or so and so far they have been a great tire just not very many miles on the BigHorn but the Buckshot seems to hold up realy well for a MT tire..
if you want to save a few bucks the BuckShots are the ones to go with! the BigHorn is no longer produced,Cooper now owns that mold and its called the Summit Mud Dawg!

My good friend runs buckshots on his F-350 work truck an swears by them. He usually gets about 15k out of them but that is rough ranch driving with loaded trailers and lots of caliche roads. I know they are some pretty sticky tires, he does'nt even have to use 4wd unless it's really bad. Only bad thing is they are super noisy and always roadwalk a little. He runs bags in his tires instead of weights because they are a little hard to keep balanced.

I've got the buckshots on my other truck and love them.. they hold up to almost anything.. Never stuck, no holes, Only problem is they would wear uneven in the front on this last set I got, I just put them in the back and did some burnouts and good as new, they were back to even tread...
