I have not used the wranglers, but if you are looking for ideas I have recently started started converting my vehicles to Nokian tires. These tires have HANDS DOWN the best traction of any tire I have ever driven on.
i would highly recommend the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac's,they are some of the best AT tires out there! also check out the Cooper Discover ATR,Mastercraft Courser AT2,Toyo Open Country AT and th Nitto Terra Grappler!

We sold a few Good year wranglers and the customers were happy. My friend had the duratrac and he loves them! That is one killer tire!

If wear is not that big of an issue the nitto terra grapler is decent and cheap I just do not know how they hold up on the track. You may burn them up pretty quick. I think you need to find the tire with the most contact to the pavement. Some A/T tires have more overall contact than others more agressive A/ts. For what you use yours for I would get one with the most rubber hitting the road.So you do not burn it off as fast!!!LOL

Doesn't anyone run BFG A/T? I know some people never see anything more than paved city streets, but I've always heard good things about them and just purchased my first set and love them...but I've only got 500 miles on them so far.

I wasn't meaning anyone in particular, it just seems like not to many people run them. If I was looking for hook at the track I would for sure run something other than BFG

nuthin wrong with the BFGs except there over rated..there was a time when EVERYBODY ran them and now most have moved on!

I still run them, I have had good results, BUT I also do not 1/4 mile it like a lot of guys here, so I do not have experience with how they would hold up there. I WILL say this, they hold up MUCH better under a load than the Bridgestones I ran in the past...
