max tire height

I'm looking to replace my tires and rims and i was wondering what the tallest tire that anyone has successfully fit on a 06 cc 2500hd silverado. I've been told 33" but was hoping for bigger. looking at 285's on 18x9 rims with a neg 12 offset. thanks guys. Oh yeah, it's running with a 4" tuff country ez ride lift.

with that lift I would go with 35's or 37's. Stock ride height should be a 33 though

I ran 35 inch BFG's on H2 rims with very minor trimming and no lift. Run 33x12.50's now no problem.

with the 4" lift 35's will be the perfect size to go with.make sure you stay with a 4.75-5.25BS on the wheels and you wont have any fitment issues!

Well, I pulled the trigger last night and ordered a set (4) of moto metal 957's 18x9 with a set of goodyear wrangler duratrac's in a 295/65-18. They're about the same o.d. As my old tires but it'll give me a better idea as to what I can go with next time. I ordered from Mr. Wheel Deal down in illinois. Should save myself a couple hundred over local even after tax and duty. Will post pics when I pin 'em on.
