Does anyone have any photos of their inner plastic wheel well shrouds after they have been trimmed or modified? I'm interested in shoving some larger tires under my 'Max and would like to see how much is involved in this venture. Thanks James and all else who have helped so far on my quest.

No pics but just trim about a half inch higher than the tire rub. By turning the tbars all the way and cutting the lower, rear-part, inner (unseen) section of the metal side fender I fit my 35s with no lift no scrub nothing

metal side fender? Do you mean you had to trim more than just the plastic inside?
Thanks, Kevin.

Yea it was the part of the fender that joins in to the truck body, sticks out like a T but that was to fit 35s, we just put 33s on my buddies new dmax and all we had to do was trim around 3inches of his inner fender. Ill see if i have pics anywhere.

that'd be great. I've got 305/55/20's on now and just the slightest rub at full wheel extension. It's slight enough that it didn't rub before i put mudflaps on.

You can just drill some small holes in the inner fenders and zip tie them back. If you put the zip tie ends on the back side and use blk you won't even notice they have been altered. Beats cutting them up IMHO....
i trimmed the metal on the fender its like a lip the runs north and south and trimmed the bottom lip off, painted it so it dont rust and the trimming i did at the bottom i filled with silicone so no water would get in the rocker pannel then used self tappers to hold the inner fender back painted the self tappers black and zip tied the cable to the little tab behind the inner fender

Its kinda one of those things where you gotta do a little until it stops rubing. I cut a inch off. It still rubbed. did it another time and it was good. Mine still rubs sometimes when you back up.
