yea we do at my shop powdercoated my dads ram air pan on hiis 66 goat and we didn prep it right man it flaked off like no other thank gosh i learn my lesson its expensive if u dont prep it right

Yea prep and bake time/temp is key. I paid $100/wheel.

Their are tons of "candy" color powders that look awesome when done over something like a chrome. Also powder is cheap and available in a huge variety of colors. Pre heating the item is a big help and like any coating process like has been said, prep will make or brake the process. We have a converted home oven at the shop that we use for a huge variety of powder coating. Love it, so much nicer than paint, from pre heat to installable in less than an hour.
