| Dually Tire Size Difference Was wondering if stock tires, door placard, (LT215/85x16) verses what a dealer put on my 06.... TOYO (LT235/85x16) requires a small, say, 1/2" spacer? I figure if I haul the 5th wheel those tires will get awlfully close due to the weight. Any input would be appreciated.....thanks in advance.

| the LT235-85R16 depending on brand does need a small spacer between the duals so they dont rub but MOST wont! the 235s look way better IMO!

| Thanks for the info....just for clarification...the tires are TOYO also. I have noticed that the 235's are just touching, so I figured with a 5'er on its back...they will touch. So the 1/2" spacer was thought of........hopes thats enough. hi hi Thanks again...

| i would think that a 1/2 inch spacer will work fine for 235's. i have 265-75-r16 on my dually and run 2" spacers on the back

| I did put the 1/2" spacers on and notice there was some rubbing of tires. I was able to use the 1/2" spacer with about 8 threads getting a good bite on the stud. From what I understand, that should be ample. Again thanks for the info and help.

| you can see if the tires rubbed against each other,if they did or do you'll need to do spacers! have you ever seen what a tire looks like after its been curbed? well it wont be that bad but it will have similar scuff marks on the sidewalls!
