Looking at Nitto Grapplers

Im looking at getting new tires for my truck. Im going with a 265/75-16 load range D or E. I started looking at the Nitto Terra Grappler and the Nitto Dura Grappler. Does anyone have either of these? If so how do you like them? Also any pics?

Nitto Tire - High Performance Tires for Car and Truck Enthusiasts

Im trying to decide between the 2.

I really like the Terra grapplers. They look great and have good on and off road driving. However they look like they'll wear fast and dont look like theyll have alot of tread to begin with.

The dura grapplers look like they have a better tread wear. But they dont look like they'd do as good off road or in the snow...

Also any other suggestions?

I was thinking about going with some Terra Grapplers myself but have heard from quite a few people that they don't last very long so........needless to say, im still looking. They look like a pretty good tire but i don't want to waste my money if i'm only getting 15-20,000 out of them.

I have Nitto T-Graps and they have over 35K on them (they were on another truck). I love these tires, they look good and are very quiet.

I would get the Dune Graps myself.

I recommend them

I've got 295/70/17's Nitto Terra Grapplers and they're ok. I don't know that I'd get them again. Great on the Blacktop but as far as Off road. I don't know. I liked my BFG's off road. They stick like crazy on the blacktop, Won't spin even on the PPE Hot+2 on 350. I can break them lose with some boost but as soon as I'm launched, they stop spinning and go. Mud they seem to not do as good. I've got about 5-6000 miles on them and they're wearing ok.

For a tire that wont get you stuck when light off roading, is quiet and wears pretty good IMO i like the cooper discoverer ATRs thats what we run on Corries truck and i love them so far! She drive @ 100 miles a day to work, sled pulls with them, and tows the horse trailer to places that always have a feild for a parking lot!

Hey thanks so far guys! I actually went to the tire distibutor today and checked them out in person.

I checked it out and its a real nice tire! The other tires Ill look at are probably the BFgoodrich Rugged trail and a cheaper tire a Kumho KL78 I think.

I did look at the Cooper tires. But, there a little high priced and none of the places I get tires from sell them. So If have to pay an arm and a leg for them. They are a heck of a tire with twice the wear as the Nitto IMO.
