front wheels stick out

I have a 2005 chevy 2500hd, it has a 6" lift and i currently run 35X12.5X20 on it. the front wheels stick out almost 3" past the fender wells, but the back one dont at all. anyone know why? the rims are rockstar XD and the rubber is toyo open country m/t

I cant explain it technically because I have never had a lifted truck but it is a very common issue on with all different lifts. Most guys I have seen on here to correct it will run wheel spacers on the back to match the front and add a deeper style fender flare. Some guys just don't trust wheel spacers. Hope that helps.

Its the brand of lift.

Some brands increase the front trac width tremendously.

I believe the front has to do with the independent front suspension...since you're moving all the steering geometry down, it widens out.

I also think lift manufactures do it to keep the stability in check as it corrects your center of gravity.

I have a 6" rdx lift. do you know if there is any way to fix that?

Get rear wheel spacers to match the front.

or.

Get a new lift.

well u could have gotten very positive offset wheels but u already bought wheels

3/4 Tons from the factory have a wider track in the front than the rear. It just becomes more noticable with set of aftermarket wheels. Some lifts make them stick further out than others too.

my truck is just leveled and the fronts stick out 2 1/4 " (including side walls) and the rears
about 3/4 ".(including side walls)

Certain lifts will do that especially Fabtechs. It has to do with the new knuckles they use
