What did you use to trim the inside corner where you had rubbing? I just had my 285's installed on stock wheels today. They look great but I did notice a bit of rubbing on the sharp turns with the front fender. I am trying to research fixing that problem. thanks
I just used a hacksaw and cut it off at a 45. Mine didn't rub, but I wanted more clearance. the only place it rubbed was in the driver's side fenderliner in the front...I just took a heat gun and reshaped it...it only rubbed while backing. When I cut more off to fit the aftermarket wheels I taped it off and used a small cut-off wheel. Worked pretty good...you have to look close to see that i cut my front bumper. i don't know if I took pictures of that though.

I run 285 BFG KO on my 04 GMC and I only did 2 cranks on the T bars with VERY minimal trimming on the front bumper and I never and I mean never rub... My theory, trucks can be moody i guess..

I have been told that there is a difference in how high some of these trucks are from the factory... ie: yours may have been taller from the factory than ours...

I'm currently getting a set of BFG AT/KO LT265/70R17's LRE mounted up on a set of chrome 17x8.5 H2's. I will have them bolted on this afternoon and get some pics. Naturally I'm going with raised white letter out.

just got back from a 5HR trip doing 68MPH the whole time and got right at 22MPG running 285-75R16 tires on a CC SB truck that weighs 7500# with me in it..when i was doing 70-72MPH i dropped down to 20MPG so speed is a big factor in fuel economy.
