I am going with wheels and tires, and would like to know your opinions on the tires.
most likely a 285 65 18, a bigger wheel while still keeping the truck look
I am looking between BFG A/T, Nitto Terra Grapplers A/T, and Nitto Dune Grappler.
I drive in ALL weather, mainly street, a little dirt from time to time:cool
If any of yall have experience with or advice on the tires please let me know!! Thanks!!

I have 285/75/r16s and i love them. Perfect balance between offraod and street use. If you ever go off road you wont ever have to worry about flats too because of the 3 ply sidewall. Nittos are great tires but they are a softer tire compound and wont last near as long.
I love Michelin LTX M/S tires they last forever but arent offered in that size. I just put the 285 nittos on my buddys 07 Cummins and they ride just as nice, look to be wearing well and have good traction in all weather, but only time will tell. Not sure how set you are on fuel economy but a few guys on here say that the 285's KILLED there fuel mileage. Just my .02!
P.S.- the Michelin LTX M/S's on my 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee lasted 96,000 miles. They out lasted the trans!

I love my BFGs. Have seen mileage upwards of 60k and ride nice. I have not had any experiance with the other. I like the dune grapler because of the flames on the sidewalls

When I bought my rig it had 265 Michelin LTX M/S on them so I can def say they are great tires!
I have 285 bfg A/T on my truck now.. just on my OE 16" My truck is a gold though so I want to move to a black wheels for a better look and I figure if I am going to buy new wheels then go for more inches... I like th way the 285's fill out the truck!
Thanks for the opinions guys! I want to make the best decision and I had heard good things about Nitto but it looks like I will stick with my BFG's!!
Who KnowS maybe I will put some 265 sticky rubber on the OE wheels for the strip!!

I have 265 Bridgestone Dueler Revo's on my truck. Got a ton of miles on them, I think they have a 50k warranty too. They're fairly agressive, but QUIET. Good in the mud, and GREAT in the snow, which I know you guys get a ton of in Iowa.
