I had dueler Revo's that only lasted me one year and about 23000 miles, I tow some pretty heavy loads with the truck though, I have the BFG 285/75R16's AT / KO's 10 ply now, they have been on the truck since December 15th, they seem to ride much better, they do not seem to "Wonder" under a load the way the duelers did. But the Revo's just did not last long for me, even when rotating them regularly...

to get a tire to wear to it's full potential you have to keep the tires rotated and the air pressure checked atleast once a week or so and then keep your foot off the skinny pedal and your tires will last alot longer.
Cooper/Mastercraft build some realy good tires and we have handled the brand for the last 5 years or so and hardly ever do i hear a bad word about them.
Firestone which is owned by Bridgestone, stay away from the Transforce AT and Destination LE other then that the firestone tires are a good tire.
Bridgestones,pricey but good.
BFG,most guys lovem except the price.
Toyo, for the ones i have handled the Coopers always do better.
hope this helps..

the revo's were ok except for handling the hauling the heavier loads... They lasted the shortest period of any I have run, and I Very Very Rarely goose it, I try to get every mile I can out of them, I even go as far as to make sure and lower pressures when I am not hauling verses keeping them maxed when under a load. But so far, the BFG's have done great in comparison.

Just to throw my two cents in regarding tire pressures:
The tire pressure ratings per tire and vehicle are safe averages.
The optimal way to check your pressure for your specific vehicle/tire/load is by finding a nice new flat blacktop parking lot and rubbing chalk on your tires. Then slowly drive the vehicle in a straight line for a short distance (just a few revolutions should work) then check to see how the chalk is worn off. Just in the middle? Too much air. Mostly at the edges? Too little air. Even wear? Just right!

Without a load I normally run around 50-55 PSI for tread wear, they seem to wear more evenly at that pressure, but with the extra weight of a load they wear fine with the max recommended pressure. They also ride better, etc.
