heres a few pics of one with 1 set of 285-75R16 tires and roughly 1 half years time later this is how they looked today when i changed out the tires | there were some serious outside factors there, i would say overinflation, heavy pulling, and long distances.....plus obvious abuse, that much dirt packed up in the beads of oversized tires, and were they froze on? i see the hammer marks on the back side...this is however typical wear on big trucks when they are in the 800k - 1m mile area...what did the vehicle look like? were they all like that?curious ,thanks
obtw- you can service that wheel if you really wanted to....use a grinder stone on a buffer and grind the inner lip off with a up and away motion, then use a heavy wire wheel in the oppisite direction down and towards to pull the lip smooth.... but you can only do it once.... and i wouldn't do it to my own wheels
