What are they, Continental RainSport / ContiSport 2 ?

The C load tires from Continental are very good, a friend has a Dodge Ram Dually 3500 with Continentals and it has done 65.000km on them, and they're just about half way...

The grip is good in snow (as long as it doesn't get slab caught between them duals at the back) and rain, but also as with the Michelin C-load they don't work well in wet grass conditions... nor mud...

Contiseal. There is actually a lawsuit against them for the tires. They came standard on all 03 to 08 dodge Magnums,Chargers and Chrysler 300s Went back with Yokahomas hope they last the next 50K

Hmm, i've never heard of Contiseal...

Guess the US brands are of less quality...

For example, a US spec BMW E39 M5 has a weaker driveline and brakes than the EURO spec... and is also supplied with Toyo tires, while the EURO comes with Continental ContiSport...

I have Continental ContiSport 2 running on my E60 530d, i had 285/35 ZR19 in the back and 255/40 ZR19 in the front.... they lasted poorly but gave good grip, but i changed to Pirelli P-Zero Rosso but they didn't grip as good so i bought 295/30 ZR19 and 265/35 ZR19 and that works good...

The rig is packed with Michelin C-load, they are very good and grip well.... i am looking to buy Toyos when i have smoked them out

I havent heard anything of a lawsuit against Continental, and i am a bit of a Tirefreak. I'm going for Toyo T1R for the E39 M5 since the Michelin Pilot Sport are starting to wear out....

All rear tires on E39 M5's only last about the month with some chickenshit driving, otherwise it's only about a week....

but hey, enough off topic...

cool thanks everyone i think i know the size i want now and i think i know the brand. everyone says the LTX M/S are a good tire but it just seems to me they have to much siping to hold up under heavy loads but we shall see...

I don't run anything but E Load rated tires on my trucks. I ended up having to go with a set of Toyo Open Country HTs recently (stock size - 215/85s). I have been quite impressed with the Toyos...tows well, very quiet, handles great.
