2016 2500 Readylift sst 4.0/2.0

I just put the Readylift sst kit on my truck and now it is time to get tires. I want to stay with the stock 20's. The lift kit instructions say that it will clear a 34" tire. My question is will a 35x11.5 or 12.5 fit with this kit? It looks like guys are clearing that size tire with just cranking the keys so I assume I should have at least that much room.

You should be fine runnin 35x12.50 on stock wheels but still may rub frame/sway bar a bit.

Thanks for the reply. Is it the height or width that causes the rubbing? If I stay with the 11.50 will it be a better fit?

I'm running 35x11.5 on stock 20s with just a 1.5" crank on the bars. They don't hit anywhere. You hound be fine with those. The 12.5 may or may not rub depending on the height it sits at.

12.50 is awfully wide for that stock rim.
How does it ride? I've been looking at the SST kit for a long time.

No rubbing with or w/o mud guards?

Stock 20s are 8.5" wide. Maybe not ideal for 12.5, but not terrible either.

No mud guards on my truck so except on the front of the rear fender wells and they don't contact either.

I would say it rides slightly stiffer than stock but not at all bad. The cv angles are a little steep but they are not maxed. The diff spacers help. So far so good. I went this route because the dealer said this would not void warranty where a full blown lift would.

I think I am going to try the 35x11.5 ridge grapplers. I will be able to tell if a 12.5 will fit once I put the 11.5's on. Thanks for everyones input.

Put 35x12.50x17 on mine yesterday with Rough country 3.5" lift and they fit no problem didn't have to trim a thing.
