Opinions wanted - V-tech wheels

I'm considering a set of V-techs from Discount Tire.
I'd like to hear comments regarding the quality of these wheels compared to other well regarded brand names.

You know what they say - if the price is too good to be true, it usually is.

I'm running stock 245/70R16 which are 30.5" diameter.
I'd like to change to a 285/60R18 which is only 1" taller at 31.5, but nearly 2" wider. Do you think I'll have clearance problems?

Cheers everyone!

BUMP

Any takers on my clearance question?
I know this tire is only 1" taller than my stockers, but I keep seeing people having clearance trouble with 285's.

Maybe I can get away with them since they are 60 series...anyone?
