Air Intake Heater Relay

How do I delete this I’m reading a lot of forums, I had a guy do new injectors I picked it up from shop and it’s throw P0540 which is this relay it’s 300$. I messaged him about it and he said it’s the guys fault that wired my remote start he fried it. But it worked fine for a year and then after he unhooked it and re wired it it blew it I’m assuming. I’m not much of a mechanic just kinda hands on. I’ll attach some pics of how it looks. I’ve been told I can just get rid of it will that cut my code off?

I dont think you can delete it with out EFIlive and thats not easy to get anymore. I've replaced the relays in mine which I actually need to do again after 4 years one of them just crapped out on me . Is your truck a ca truck by any chance?

The good news is, you dont need it. The bad news is, your remote start wont work now. If mechanic says the guy who installed remote start messed it up, I'd tell him tonfix his wiring and make good on the damaged electrical components. You have pictures, and a mechanic that says thats the issue. I would say it would make for a good smear campaign for the christmas holidays
