A vacuum air leak is hard or impossible to find. A fuel leak under pressure leaves a tell tale sign of where to start looking.

*** Update ***

It was indeed injectors. Flow rates were high and two injectors had poor balance rates. Thousands of dollars later and a Fass lift pump, she's running top notched.
