2004 LB7 Intake heater delete?

Hey guys i have a 2004 LB7 and thinking about deleting the intake heater, any thoughts or notice any difference once it was deleted? Thanks

I saw a truck once that had that deleted. LOL! He said the only think he noticed was it took a little longer to warm up when really cold.

I took mine out a couple years ago. Hard to any difference because I did injectors & tunes at the same time. I don't know about warm up mine doesn't get driven in winter.

04 GMC LB7 2500 SAC 45 injectors DSP5 EFI live, ported air inlet. 4" MBRP droning exhaust.

I didn't notice anything different. But that large of a piece has to have a restriction on air flow.

I don't have EFI live to delete the code, so I have to put it back in for inspections. Doesn't take long and it's once a year so I don't mind it.

You can hook a light bulb to it & it won't show a CEL.

Not sure how several thin wire strands could impede air flow?

And then you have the more fuel burned from a cold start to op temp thing.
