Great write up! Has this been made into a sticky yet? Maybe on the introduction page, and on this page?

I read this post and I have a 2001 LB7 but when I took the cover off my turbo I realized mine is a Garret turbo..I bought it from a dealership and they said they replaced the stock one the guy that had it bought it new and had it serviced every 3000 miles and traded it in on a new one and was 80 yrs old and never got into it so the truck itself is in amazing condition, but what would be the difference of the Garrett turbo vs the IHI turbo

2001 LB7: Mahle Forged Pistons, Carillo rods, Socal cam, Dual Industrial Injection 185% CP3s, Girdle kit, Race 6 Injectors, Suncoast DIY tranny build kit and TC, H&F Custom Worked Heads, ARP studs, BD intercooler, S&B Intake w/ running light suction, MA engine mounts, pushrods, and oil cooler. Every wrench that has touched this truck has been in my hand and every dollar spent was from my wallet..p.s I'm 22 and sweat every day for my dollar like I'm supposed to
