You'll probably be more expensive than 1k for a drop in turbo. I don't know as I've not looked any time recently, but a Fleece Cheetah is like 22-2400. I love mine, been running a cheetah on my 2002 for five years now. Makes good power, doesn't take any capabilities away, and drivability of a stock truck.

I sled pull, daily, and still sometimes tow with mine. But since about 2012, its main task has been sled pulling and staying together for a daily driver.

That's not true, the California emissions trucks from 01 up did have an EGR. While they were by far the minority in production, they do exist. If the truck has federal emissions then there is no EGR, PCV route to the intake, Cat or other emissions features.

If you are looking for a drop in still, check out LDS, just recently picked up their 64mm supercore drop in, helped things out nicely and didnt have to adjust much in the ay of the engine compartment, was just shy of 900.
