Well im some what new to Duramax as i got my grandpa's 04 LLY after he passed away. I was driving a 01 24v but i got rid of it finally and moved to the good side of trucks finally.

So basically im just curious as to what the best small / basic upgrades to do first are to my truck. I've have already had to redo the injector harness's on two of them.

basic info about the truck. its a 2ed 2500HD LLY with about 134k Miles on it all from hauling stock trailers to and from stock shows and highway miles, my grandpa took amazing care of the truck and changed everything when it needed to be done etc. He was a GM employee all of his life and built trucks for them.

LLY's have e restrictive mouth piece to the turbo that most replace with and upgraded one that would be first on my list if it hasn't been done already. 2nd would be a lift pump with filters system to keep positive pressure on the fuel system as it is under a vacuum with the stock set up which is prone to air leaks causing problems with the fuel system losing prime and I wouldn't delete the stock filter but leave it there for extra filtration and retaining the water in fuel sensor operational as to warn of possible water in the fuel.
