My fan comes on now before the factory gauge hits 210.
Damn. Well. I guess I'll pull it out then. You get pretty quick at it after 3 times haha.

Not so much.
It's easier to blow dirt than wash mud. Blowgun 1st, then water rinse, then Simple Green...let soak, but don't let it dry.
Then rinse/flush with water.

I like to finish up with air again, via the leaf blower.

Then rinse/flush with water. Sometimes, it takes a soft bristle brush to remove the crust from years of neglect.

Echo Echo ,, Echo Echo (<grins>
Just be careful in how much air pressure and how hard you jam the wand around in there. Those fins are bent pretty easily. Folding too many fins over is just as bad as, or actually probably worse than the gunk that builds up in the core.

Don't worry. This is all in preparation for the first haul through the mountains with my new HGs and head swap. I'll be gentle. Anything I can do to prevent a breakdown will make me less anxious haha. Just installed my egt probe this evening.
It's only a 7000lb camper, so should be a light test run. Turbo don't fail me now!! Haha
