You'd have to look into adding an aux oil cooler. Sandwich adapter, coil, hose...not too bad in $$. But those al fittings shoot up the cost. IIRC, when I priced out the parts years ago, $750-ish comes to mind.
And then there's the debate of running -10an vs -12an. Dmax volume needs fall into the -12 area, but the sandwich adapter is only -10.
However, if you port out the I.D. to match the -12, it works.
Thinner wall, yes. But it's fine to support the low oil psi of the Dmax, and lack of flow volume won't be a concern.
