So, the reason it wouldn't start and I'm sure why it quit to start with, was that the fuse block under the hood had gone bad. At least I wasn't just missing something stupid.

The new CP3 is working good. I'll just have to go back in a little bit to stop a leak on the high pressure side.

BTW...funny thing happened with the "diesel" mechanic that worked on my truck.

I got the truck to the Chevy/GMC dealership in Dalhart. Told them what it was & was not doing and what I had checked. So when we discussed the repair work and that it was ready, I asked about how well it started. Because I really hadn't bled the air after the CP3. He said it started real good. But when I told him why I was asking, his response was what got me. He asked me what a CP3 was.

The truck is fixed. But I expected more from a "diesel" mechanic.
