LBZ no manual shift, replaced shift lever, still no manual shift

Hello everyone, Happy New Year. Great forum here!

So my 2006 ccsb 4x4, all stock except batmowheel. Since I bought the truck (2years ago) the manual shift option has never worked, I put off fixing it until this week. I tore the column apart and would you know it— I found broken wires. The tow haul button has always worked....I figured it was a simple fix so I fixed the broke wires in the shifter but still nothing. Tow haul button still worked fine. So I swapped the shift lever out of my 07 Classic LBZ to see if it was actually the shifter bad and still nothing. Just stays in 6th gear on the DIC when shifted to manual mode. So what is likely to be the culprit? Bad tcm? Weird because the truck shifts fine in D and tow/haul functions perfect. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 🙏 🙏 🙏
