Returning CAT fuel and oil filter back to stock

Hey all,

I tried looking for instructions on removing CAT adapters for the oil and fuel filters and returning them to stock. Iím sure it is easy to do but I just want to be sure that I donít miss a step.

I recently purchased this LBZ and I was not aware that CAT filters do not separate water. So I am wanting to replace them with original filters. From what I understand for the fuel filter, there is a ball and spring I need to keep from the CAT adapter is there any other parts I need to buy to return these back to stock?

Thank you,

Aaron

IIRC you can run without the checkball on the fuel filter (also my way of saying I dont have part number)...it prevents back flow from the cp3 which could cause priming issues but I believe not many people have reported those issues.

Awesome thanks for the info! Just wanna confirm before I do the swap. I was planning on just looking at a video on how to install those filters and just reverse the process
