Banks Intake Kit or S&B

Anyone running the Banks Intake kit / S&B ? Is it worth it or not? Trying to improve MPG with a tad more power if possible.
Thanks

I personally havent upgraded simply because the loss in filtration isnt worth the minimal gains in power. The biggest gains you are likely to see in power and mileage, come from tuning alone.

I had the Banks intake with Super Scoop, Exhaust and tuner. Great power and clean, well-engineered design. Pricey but some of the best stuff I've put on a vehicle for fit, finish, and engineering.

S&B makes a scoop for their intake as well. But like DaJokr said, the stock intake flows good and has better filtration than any aftermarket intake.

With some stuff.

Don't have any pix but do have a brand new super scoop in the box if you end up going banks. Be happy to make a deal and get rid of it since I no longer have the truck.

I cannot confirm which has better filtration but the Banks system is worth 0 MPG or Power! I have had it on my truck for 5 years (no scoop) IMHO a waste of $$$
