2011+ leaf springs in older trucks?

Have a 2008 2500HD that has weak leaf springs. Would like to install 3500HD springs in it. Does anyone know if you could use springs from a 2011 and newer trucks? Thanks

I donít think so, as there was a body and frame change in 2011. Best thing to do is get on rock auto, or GM parts giant, website and find part numbers for your truck, and a 2011, and see if they are the same.

Weller auto parts or other salvage parts company and look for takeoff springs. The older style leaf springs carried weight better than the newer models.
