Question 2008 LMM quit running while driving

My 2008 LMM all of a sudden quit running while driving down the road for no apparent reason and won't re-start. Any ideas on the problem?

Only 86k actual miles. DIC indicates 85% life left on the fuel filter. 3/4 tank of fuel indicated.

That's a hard one. No particular symptoms.

Have you tried priming the fuel filter? And try priming while attempting to start. Have you tried a code reader to see if anything captured by the ECM? Checked fuses? Easiest way I know of is to set your tester on continuity and put one probe on one side of the fuse, other leg on other side of the same fuse. This is while fuses remain installed and it's not necessary to have ignition on. You should get 0 ohms. If 0L show up, fuse is blown. Is everything electrical working, radio, wipers, dash lights, door locks, etc?? If you have any non-oem electrical items in the truck, try detaching them to see if any difference. Check battery voltage - detach grounds on both batteries before checking either of them. Make sure connections are clean and tight, no corrosion. Same with grounds. I'm assuming engine cranks but does not start and run. Correct?

Need to find some problem you can identify, then go from there.

There were no codes. No blown fuses. All dash lights working, radio, wipers horn all working. Completely stock no non-original parts. Priming the filter got the engine running. Can't figure out what caused it to quit......low fuel pressure maybe???...leaky seals in the fuel filter housing assy??

It certainly sounds fuel related. Have you checked the fuel lines from the tank to the filter head and from the filter head onward to see if any of the lines are leaking or damaged?
