The only issue I've had just happened last week. My cold side intercooler boot clamp slid off on the EGR delete pipe. No fault of the Rudy's pipe just a oil soaked factory boot won't allow the clamp to hold. I recommend the Rudy's kit. You can't beat the price compares to some others.

I just installed the Sinister kit on mine. I can tell you that the blocker plate fir like a glove with no trouble getting both of the bolts in that support the up pipe, but no slack.

I paid the extra for the Sinister kit because of horror stories I read about Rudy's and other less expensive copy cat kits having difficulty getting all the holes to line up. This caused the bellows on the stock up-pipe to rupture, necessitating doing it all again.

Personally I don't like the idea of having to re-do work that I don't have to, because it is not fun and ultimately even more costly.

I think you get what you pay for, you be the judge.

I installed the Rudy's EGR Delete a few weeks ago, all parts fit well. Here are a few things I did to complete the delete. I used a new gasket (eBay) and high temp gasket maker on the blocker plate. One of the mounts on the intake was off by about 1/4". I tightened the rest of the bolts then used a ratchet strap to pull the mount into place. I used gaket maker on intake as well. If you get an odd vibration use a zip tie on the coolant lines that were disconnected from the cooler that are by the firewall. Total cost was under $100. I know the thread is old, but I just wanted to share my experience since the thread helped me decide to buy the Rudy's delete kit.

Can anyone supply me with a link the the Rudy's kit. I'm wanting to have my egr fully deleted but don't have a crazy amount of money to put into it right now. If someone give me me a link to the correct link for the Rudy's kit that would be great! Btw mines a 2008 gmc Sierra 2500.
