Put one in my '06 2500HD Crew Cab Std bed; Fairly easy R & R, good instructions. Only issues I've had is variations in the fuel level gauge(especially parking on grades), some issues with fuel starvation in the tank @ 1/4 tank full or less.(raised the front of the tank by moving hanger strap towards rear a little), and the topping off the tank issues with getting the air pockets in the top of the tank to evac while filling. Considering installing a sump and an external pump which may help with fuel starvation at low tank levels. Other than those small issues, I'm VERY happy with the tank, especially being able to tow/drive for twice as long between fills. Can't believe GM installed a puny 26 gal tank in that ruck in first place!

i bought the titan tank for my LMM. I ended up returning it. I'm going to get an aux/tool box combo. I'll lose a little tool box storage but will gain nearly 50 gal of fuel putting me at 76 total gal. Just have to find one that utilizes the bed spec efficiently. They make everything truck specific except aux/toolboxes. wth?

RDS states that 60gal black one is only 55" wide. I measured my bed and i believe i can fit a 60" box on the bed. Bed rails are 63+" wide so not worried there.
What are your thoughts? Do you think a 60" wide one would fit?

Its possible but it would make it pretty hard to bolt down and connect the fuel lines.
Iím lucky I went with the one I bought, going with the hard folding cover the track is about 1 1/2Ē wide X 2 and having tank under the cover.
I didnít see any 60Ē wide how many gallons does it hold ?
Have you called RDS to get their opinion?

They dont have any 60" wide options. Thats my complaint. If the drain is at the rear of the tank and not on the side then connecting shouldn't be much of an issue. Just make the connections then move the tank into place and mount. There's enough clearance on the rear due to the bed rail that should allow for a connection to be made.

oh, and by my calculation, the extra 5" would add just over 6 gal of capacity.

Problem solved no 60” offered, go with the 55” then pick up 2 of these https://www.harborfreight.com/5-Gall...fQ%3D%3D%0D%0A adding 10 more gallons

Fuel tank specialty shops could build you what you want, I know one, the only one in Az that will build you what size you want within reason.
