2015 Chevy LML

I have a 2015 Chevy 2500HD LML with about 96k on it. Have owned it since new and it has been virtually trouble free. Been thinking about trading for a new one but hate the thoughts of the price tag, so thinking about running it. It is all stock.

A couple times it has done the white smoke deal I have seen others post about, but it is rare and usually only happens when merging onto a freeway. Should I be worried?

I have a friend that has a few of these in their construction business and has had some pump issues, but not sure what series they have. Theirs are deleted and pull heavy loads. Should I look at a lift pump?

Long and short, I don't want it to fail and cost a ton to fix - I'll just trade it if I'm going to have trouble. But if there are a few things I could do to prevent it, I may do that and just run it.

The white smoke thing most likely while you are in Regen. ( normal ) first and foremost, install Exergy fuel system saver, install a Fass system with sump, use high quality fuel with good additive.

My 16 LML’s CP4 took a dump on me yesterday. Truck is all stock w/ 59,000 miles on her. Repair bill is $13,000 at the dealer but luckily they honored the power train and it’s 100% covered. I had no warning it just quit on me. I’m considering getting rid of it and going back to a gas motor truck. I don’t need 13,000$ repair bills down the road when the warranty goes up. Luckily I was close to hone and not on a trip with the family.
