Serpentine System Part Numbers????

Hello,

Here in need of help. I have a 2016 LML Sierra HD with dual alternators. Recently experienced a tensioner pulley failure causing the serpentine belt to shred. Im looking to replace all of the idler pulleys in addition to upgrading the tensioner pulley to the improved steel version. Im looking at using a gates belt as well. Here is my issue. GM can't tell me how many pulleys of each type I need and Im away from the truck hoping to order parts and have them available when I return.

Can anyone confirm the part numbers and quantities of the idler pulleys?

So far I know I've ordered the ACDELCO 39242 Professional replacement tensioner assembly. Also need help identifying which Gates belt is best for the dual alternator configuration. All help appreciated. Thanks

Get your vin# and go to a GM parts website - such as GMPARTSGIANT.COM) that does parts lookup by vin#, that will assure you have the correct part numbers, whether or not you purchase the parts from that website. My 2008 model has 2 idlers, smooth not ribbed, but yours may be different. Many websites will have an illustration of the various parts for the serpentine group. My favorite belt is a Gates Green Stripe fleet belt. Runs quiet, very dependable, does not produce static.
