Could be they were defective or there may have been some residual from your CP4 that made its way to those injectors. Hopefully replacing those clears up your problem- beats a new motor!

Your starting to chase your tail.

Injectors die occasionally here and there .

7, all at once?

I'm not buying it, unless you removed every fuel filter on the truck and went to Tijuana for a quick Pemex fill up....

I'm just telling you what the injector testing company said, They have the $300k bosch test stand and they gave me print outs of each injector. I replaced every line on top of the motor, dropped and flushed the tank, and lines to and from the tank. I also put new filters on too. I think I got some shitty injectors... I'm getting some new ones from LDS, I'm not doing business with that other company. Just so I'm making sense these injectors weren't dead but had little to no output or were stuck open.

Maybe you guys can help me understand this value. 7 out of 8 injectors failed this LL (idle) test. I'm sending the injectors into the company I bought them from so they can test them as well. I have a feeling they will fight me on the warranty. I enclosed the test for injector 1.

Cut open the oil filter and drained the oil into a strainer, metal fragments on the filter element and this was in the bottom of the oil filter. Motor is coming out Tuesday... Doubt the injectors were bad, the company I had test them couldn't even call me back to answer a few questions. I'm very disappointed in them...

The starter spins the crank from the back.

The cam is spun from the gear drive on the front of the crank.

When the crank gets split in two, there is a slight timing issue which bends the shit out of the pushrods.

The fact that the dealer could not identify this engine as a pile of scrap is 5 minutes should make everyone lose all faith in dealerships.

The owner should have every dime he wasted there refunded.....
