Gear and TCL is still a selectable PID in the latest version of CTS2. I suggest a complete reset of the unit before you do another download, thats what I needed to before the darn thing would load correctly and not have missing PID's

Interesting, your not tuned but have the EGR blocked off, other then throwing the one code does the truck run ok, is it warning about speed reductions or any other codes?

So like i said i am new to diesel but far from a kid, i have my own kids... That being said the truck runs great and only throws the code for EGR which i would expect, no limp or any other issues. And how is this bad for the truck? Correct me if i'm wrong it is just stopping the re-circulation of exhaust gas. If it will damage the motor obviously i will remove them but i was not aware of this possible damage.

The truck will not regen properly with the egr blocked so sooner or later you will have issues.

Thank you, Just trying to learn here. I'll remove the plates until i can afford the tune/delete.
