Fuel Cap Hanger

How many here do not realize that there is a hanger on the fuel door to allow you to hang the fuel cap instead of letting it dangle on the side of the bed when filling the truck?

Here are a couple of pics:

I don't use the hanger because here in the Empire State they make the stations disable the auto fill at self serve pumps. So I slip the cap under the handle to keep the nossle flowing. It's the perfect size for this and the auto shutoff still works and I don't have to stand there squeezing the handle while filing up 30+ gallons.

Use mine every time. I can’t stand letting to fall down.

The wife’s car doesn’t have a cap so no worry there

The daily has one where the cap itself sides into it.
