LMM Help 2007.5

I put a FASS system on my truck a week ago and has ran fine. I just purchased and installed a full egr delete with y-bridge, fuel filter delete kit, and new deleted exhaust. After installing everything including the tuner it started then quit. We had removed a couple fuel lines to remove y-bridge so i assumes there was air in the line. We then got it started after priming it. I went for a drive and it ran like a dog. If you barely pushed the gas it ran normal. If you got in it at all it would fall on its face. After a few times the fuel rail pressure code kicked in. I figured once again air may have been in line. I then reset the code and it started right up and ran fine. Drove 45 mins home and ran fine until right at the house i tried getting in it again and same thing happened. I then left the house for a long drive and for the first hour or so it did fine. Then the code just kept happening and limo mode until now it won’t start period. Had to call a wrecker for it. With the fass system don’t see why this would be an issue unless it was the filter delete. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Im just guessing you do not have a tune that will compensate for the EGR and DPF delete.

You might consider contacting H & S on what you actually have and what functions itís suppose to do and doesnít do.

If you deleted your OEM filter with the primer pump then you can't do this but if it is still there try priming it by hand. If it is solid to start with then you have a bad CP or a pressure regulator that is stuck open. Your CP3 is pretty reliable so I would check the regulator first. It could be as simple as a connector that got pulled loose from the regulator. It is under the a/c compressor so you will have to do some digging to get to it.

If you don't have the primer pump still in place then I would disconnect a line as close to the CP as is convenient and see if it flows lots of bubble free fuel. If it doesn't flow then find out why your lift pump is not working or why the line is plugged. With all of your messing around it is possible that the fuel line got pinched somewhere. If there are bubbles then something upstream of the lift pump is leaking air or even the lift pump itself.

It is also possible that your draw straw is leaking air in. It might be time for a sump.

Well I called a mechanic friend and he asked when I did the filter delete if I took the spring and ball out since the fass system can’t use that which I didn’t. Mine didn’t come with instructions so I missed that part. Had I watched the video on YouTube I would have known but thought it was simple to just exchange. Hopefully this works will find out shortly when off work

Well that was the fix that made it work. It runs like a scalded dog now. Thanks for everyone’s input
