Dpf and def delete 2.8 duramax

I've been out of the diesel game for a while and just bought a 16 Colorado with 2.8 duramax. Afe is coming out with a turbo back exhaust for it in January. I know it will need to be tuned and I'm trying to figure out who can do it and what else would have to be done?

We just started making some stuff for the Colorado. Check out our thread. Current truck owner doesn't want to do real deep on mods. Would love to find a truck we could do more with........

newbie computer questions

diesel newbie. I understand how the emission components work except the computer stuff. Can someone explain the tuning and computer related things involved in emission deletes? what is flashing? do all years require an unlocking fee or vin specific things to tune? what brands allow emissions delete tuning? do tuners come with pre-programmed tunes or is this something you have to buy additionally? any info, suggestions, brands endorsed, etc. would be helpful. It will be for a 2017 canyon 2.8
