No sound difference ... but truly didn’t expect one being a DPF back exhaust.

That’s because the DPF is the best muffler ever invented.

Should experience my first regen later this week ... will update this thread with the results.

Put mine on after 500 miles, 8500 now. Didn’t want to torch front of 5’r. No difference in sound.

Intake finally arrived (dry filter option). Install took about 45 minutes. Followed the installation manual ... everything worked as instructed. Turbo does seem to spool a little faster than with the stock intake.

Are you noticing any difference in power or fuel economy with these two upgrades?

Intake ... turbo seems to spool faster ... so I did notice a power gain.

Exhaust ... no noticeable power gain ... but did this change to avoid 1250 degree exhaust spewing at my RV during regen.

Fuel Economy ... too early to tell. Can better answer this in a few months with more miles.

For those getting this Banks intake, can you show me the area that sits against the fender? The factory box has a small rectangle letting air in, and I believe that is because it wants more of the hood air. I am curious if Banks pulls air from the fender. I am curious what the banks kits fender opening looks like compared to the factory air box.

Go to Banks and they have a video of a L5P truck where they do dyno runs then install 5" exhaust, derringer and air intake. They show a great view of intake before install. Video attached.
