#1. This will not void the warranty.

#2. You would not be bitching about the "Several thousand dollars" you lost

#3. The indie shop would fix it right, the first time. Your saga will probably not be resolved when you get your truck back. Allot of members here have done the Dealership revolving door when trying to get fuel injection or emissions problems fixed. The dealers have no idea what they are doing. They even F-Up simple oil changes......

Everything I've reviewed about that code, shows that it isn't necessarily an injector.
MAM went thru this some time back, with them throwing injectors at it, when it was the connector that was the issue.

If you are truly losing "...thousands of dollars a day" over this when my advise that a few hundred dollars spent at a indie Duramax specialist would make this go away isn't helpful, than I dont know what good advise is.

I own two business's with a fleet of 9 vehicles and 2 trailers. I do whatever I need to do to make them roll, because stationary vehicles and equipment dont make money.

If that means spending money, so be it. Your stubborness to make the dealer fix it, might put you out of business.

Your customers couldn't care less your new truck is broken or that you want it fixed for free.

While your busy chasing pennies and losing thousands , their calling your competitors......

This is bad business decisions 101.....

My truck is the life blood of my company and my family. You need to call GM customer support about getting the truck fixed and a loaner.
Customer support will help find a dealership that will work with you quickly and provide a loaner.
GM controls the loaner program now for dealership.

They you may get a dealership a but far away that GM finds for you. But they will be on the case.

Thanks for the advice I put in a call this morning to them. They said they may be able to get the parts expedited.
I appreciate your input.

I would call Salt Lake Valley Chevrolet in West Valley City, UT with the part number and ask them to run a search within the dozen dealerships up and down the valley. Worked for me ... found the last MAP sensor in the valley for my 2019 (failed on the highway in Nevada). Itís a straight shot north up I-15 onto I-90 west ... so most Salt Lake deliveries to Montana are next day ... or the following day at most. Just an idea.

I decided to unload the Duramax earlier this week and press my ecoboost van back into service. As of Monday it will be two weeks the truck will be down.

Thatís a long time to be waiting for parts on a truck with 8000 miles. I appreciate the input people have given but it this point Iíve decided to let the local dealer figure it out. My business is back up and running and thatís a bonus. Iíve opened a case with Chevrolet.

I see the writing on the wall though. Ie when will the next injector fail. Iím extremely disappointed and I just made my fourth car payment on the truck which hurts because itís basically dead in the water.

Iím thinking buying this diesel truck was a huge mistake. Iíll add the dealer is perplexed as to why no parts yet. As much as I love the truck and how it drives none of that matters when it doesnít run.

Iíve been a Chevy guy all my life, my brother is a mechanical engineer at Chevy in Detroit. However, this is the first Chevy Iíve ever owned. I bought a 2015 ford transit van with 3.5 ecoboost engine to start my business and it was pretty relatable aside from some u joint problems due to 3000lbs load at all times. I also own a 2018 f-150 ecoboost thatís my wifeís work truck, sheís an outfitter. Iím starting to think I might go back to gas power. Maybe punt this truck and get a gas powered version of it.

Anyone need a 2019 Duramax chassis cab service body truck ? Iíll make you a heck of a deal. It got a Ali arc bull bar and 8100 miles. Iíd get out from under it for 49000

Iíll add the reason I bought the truck was for the engine, the Duramax. Same reason I bought my ecoboost f150 and t150, the ecoboost 3.5 engine.

Ie I wouldnít buy a Silverado or express van with the anemic 5.3 or 6 liter
