Will 33 x 12.5 R 18 tires work

I have a 2018 GMC 2500HD Duramax and want to replace the factory tires with 33 x 12.5 R 18 mud tires. I would like to know from someone who has done this if they will work without rubbing and without any modifications from stock.
I would appreciate any advise regarding wide mud tires.

Yes you can run that tire without rubbing. A 35x12.50 barely rubs on these trucks at stock height.

Thanks for that info. It is comforting to know before spending a lot of money on rim/tires and being disappointed with the end results.

Happy trucking to you.

Make sure to calculate the wheel offset change regarding any aftermarket wheels.

Wheel offset can make a big difference in tires clearances for rubbing.

Side Note: Stock wheels have a funky +44 offset not offered in most aftermarket wheels.

My apologies if you have already checked this.

thanks for the technical info about the +44. I plan to use OEM rims.
