The Navistar ones will be a conventional type cab.

The early 2017 date has been indicated/published several times.

The Canadian GMC site says November 2016. (fine print at bottom)

"The updated 2017 Sierra HD – in both Sierra 2500HD and Sierra 3500HD forms – will be arriving at GMC dealers nationwide in November 2017." EDIT: Maybe it just means gassers in Nov)

I'm not sure I buy the 'supplier problem' statement.
The announcement of the new truck/engine at texas is on utube, and even though they released official torque and hp, they several times said that the were still finalizing calibrations.

We will be starting 17 Crew Cab production on Oct 29th. Haven't heard of any setbacks.
